I lived in Tucson for 17 years (1975-1992), Washington State for 11 years (1993-2004), and in Tempe since 2004 when I joined the faculty at ASU. Since returning to Arizona I have been actively involved in advancing the renewable energy revolution. Arizona with its abundant sunshine can and should be at the forefront of the transition away from fossil fuels.
